No doubt Rangers will see it as ‘simply business’, some will see it as a recruitment exercise, designed to swell the ranks of Rangers support.

I see it as one thing – an absolute disgrace that a shopping centre in Dundee would open a club shop for a non-Dundonian club.

This shop must not be allowed to open. Hundreds of people work hard to keep two Dundee clubs afloat, and this is little more than a poke in the eye for those people.

It’s time to act now to stop this happening.

Please contact your respective clubs to air your grievance.

The more people we get to protest against this outrage, the less likely it is top happen.

We should be encouraging people to go to OUR games, buy OUR merchandising, not a club from another city.

Would Liverpool open a shop in Manchester? Would Sunderland open a shop in Newcastle? No they bloody wouldn’t. Rangers are a big club and think they can do whatever they like – the footballing people of Dundee, on this occasion, should club together to make sure this outrage never happens.

Please write to or email the above with your protest.
