Show Racism the Red Card

Last updated : 12 August 2005 By United Mad

The second annual Show Racism the Red Card Fortnight of Action takes place this October 13-27.

Once again players at clubs from Dingwall to Berwick will be showing their support for a racism-free football and society.

Of course, the players actions mean little without the support of Scotland's football fans.

Several fans organisations organised anti-racist actions in 2004, and SRTRC hope many more will contribute to the Fortnight of Action in 2005. To assist, SRTRC are offering grants of up to £1,000 to groups including supporters organisations/trusts for innovative grassroots anti-racist projects in local communities. We can also offer 'red cards' and SRTRC 2005/2006 squad posters for action at games for cost of postage.
