GRETNA TICKETS TO BE DECIDED BY BALLOT

From Official Site:

Due to the small number of tickets in relation to the anticipated demand and to avoid unnecessary queuing and inconvenience for fans, a postal ballot system will take place.

All season ticket holders wishing a ticket should send or hand in to the Club Shop, Dundee United Direct, an envelope containing Voucher 30 from the season ticket book and a first class stamped address envelope (SAE), to arrive at the Shop no later than
12 noon Tuesday, 28 December. A random ballot will then take place and tickets will be despatched in the stamped address envelopes when postal services resume on Wednesday 29 December. If first class stamps are used, we have been assured that mail should be delivered on Friday 31 December. In the event that some are delayed, they will then be delivered on Wednesday 5 January.

The postal address for the Club Shop is Dundee United Direct, Dundee United FC, Tannadice Park, Dundee DD3 7JW. Alternatively, envelopes can be handed in to the Shop. Shop opening hours are
9am until 5pm, with late night opening this Thursday 23 December. The Shop is closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day, but is open on the 27th from 9am until before kick off. For convenience, envelopes can also be handed in to the ArabTRUST shop unit in the lower concourse in the George Fox Stand on the day of the Hibs game. All envelopes sent or handed in to Dundee United Direct or the George Fox shop unit should be clearly marked “Gretna Tickets”.

If season ticket holders wish to attend the game with family members or friends who are also season ticket holders, all of the relevant vouchers can, if wished, be placed in the envelope together. Only one SAE should be included for delivery purposes. If successful, tickets for all of the vouchers will be despatched in the one SAE.

Should the Club receive an additional allocation of tickets, every effort will be made to send these to the unsuccessful applicants in the first random ballot. This however might depend on when it is decided that any additional seating is to be provided and, of course, the timing of the receipt of any additional tickets. It may be that due to any time constraints, these will have to be collected.

Any tickets left unallocated after season ticket holder demand has been satisfied will then be available for general distribution on a first come first served basis. This will be notified on the website, as appropriate.
