Breaking Hearts

There's nothing like hitting the ground running to bring a smile to the face of a Tuesday morning and United certainly gave Arabs plenty to grin about with the result and the performance against Hearts. It's been a pretty positive close season for United with the new additions to the squad looking sharp and Danny Cadamarteri's brace has endeared him to the Tannadice faithful already. Certainly the confidence he tucked the second away with gives a glimpse of what he may do this season wearing the sacred Tangerine. Whoever would've thought that Hearts would be down to 10 men (*cough*) but, if anything, they actually threatened more with Michael Stewart gone than they had in any of the game up to his dismissal. Brilliant to see Scott Robertson start the new season so well and Danny Swanson looks up for the challenge of competing with Conway for a starting place. United could, in truth, have won by more but, all in all, a fine display and an excellent start to the new campaign by Sir Craig and the troops.
