Houston hoping shooting practice pays off

Dundee United will bid to end a run of three straight defeats by going on the attack against Hibernian in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League meeting at Tannadice. After the controversial SPL defeat to Celtic on October 17, United suffered two losses to Motherwell in four days, including Tuesday's reverse which saw them dumped out of the Co-operative Insurance Cup. Manager Peter Houston hopes to arrest the losing streak by encouraging his side to shoot. "We need to score more goals from all areas of the park," said Houston. "We've been working on finishing this week and a bit more shooting, more crossing - hopefully it will pay off."
