Cammy Bell 'hat-trick' sets up Dundee United win

Cammy Bell saved three first-half penalties to help Dundee United to a 3-1 victory at Dunfermline.

Gavin Reilly was the first to be denied by Bell in the ninth minute and United made them pay when Simon Murray pounced in the 21st minute after Callum Fordyce failed to clear.

Nicky Clark was next to try his luck from the spot six minutes later after he was fouled by Frank van der Struijk but Bell again guessed right, and incredibly the goalkeeper completed his hat-trick of saves five minutes later as Paul McMullan also failed from 12 yards following Lewis Toshney's handball.

Tony Andreu doubled United's lead just a minute into the second half but Michael Paton quickly pulled one back and United had Paul Dixon sent off for a second bookable offence just after the hour, but Andreu's second in stoppage time sealed the victory.
