Brewster To Return To United?

United manager Alex Smith is rumoured to be ‘keeping an eye' on former United hero Craig Brewster, who is out of contract at Hibs in the summer. Brewster will always be remembered by Arabs for scoring the winning goal at Hampden in the '94 Cup Final against Rangers.

Recent signing rumours however have proved thus far to be mere speculation. Scott Booth, Eoin Jess, Tom Boyd and even Colin hendry have all been linked with moves to the club in recent weeks, yet more players are leaving than arriving, as United continue to trim the squad as planned.

Other news is that the proposed new stadium in Dundee has been given the green light by Dundee City Council. The 30 000 seater stadium would be built at Caird Park, and would be shared by both Dundee clubs. It would also be used for Euro 2008 if Scotland and Ireland's bid to host the event is successful.

Next week sees United's last game of the season away at Kilmarnock. The Terrors are one point above city rivals Dundee, who are away at Motherwell.
