Hotter than a hot thing hot tin roof down here today and the first chance I've had in about 2 weeks to draw breath and waste some time on my computer!
Delighted to see us sign Filip Mentel from Manchester City...sounds a great prospect and with Stevie Banks being a quality, if elder statesman, keeper it looks like we're continuing with our policy of building from solid foundations in defense.
Once the Dutch have completed the Tangy-tastic summer tomorrow, we can look forward to some comings and goings in the transfer market and it will still be really interesting to see who we're going to bring in to marshall the centre of defence alongside Kenza and Darren Dods. Rumours abound (as per!) but I think we all trust Houstie to find the right man.
Congrats too to big Jon Daly on becoming club captain. Committed, fearless and a total fighter...let's hope we see Jon lifting some more silverware come the season's end.
