Quite a few of my friends took the train 2 Dundee 2 watch Utd, and I was hooked! (I Unfortunatly, have never lived in Dundee!)
All time favourite United Player: If This Is Utd Player that I have seen Live!, Unfortunatly I dont have much history!. Billy Dodds springs to mind, Seib Dykstra, a few of the current squad are pretty good too.
Current Favourite Player? Where do I Begin, we have a lot of positives in our current squad, It all depends on this question. We have a lot of skill in the squad, Also we have a lot of people who really try hard for Utd!. I will list guys that I rate in the current side!. Charlie Miller (When on form can simply be brilliant!) Paul Gallacher (I simply would not rather hav anyone else in goals!, The guy has saved us on many an occaision!), Stuart Duff (Tries really hard, but i am not quite convinced, but far better than Lauchlan!), Craig Easton (He has skill, awareness and is a brilliant footballer!), Jim McIntyre (massivly underrated!, I believe will show his true worth in time), Steven Thompson (Thommo has come into his own this season and is proving a worthy member of the team), Derek Lilley (Seems like Thommo's best partner at the moment, until Dodds comes back!) Allan Smart (I have 1 word for this guy! Potential!, A wee bit hot headed at the moment but he will be a Great player!) Not really a favourate player but I think justified as we will win as a team!.
Best game attended: I have been to many good games, Unfortunatly the glory days were all before my
time! I have many happy memories as an arab!
Favourite pre-match boozer? (Before the bus!) If the bus is leaving from Motherwell, The Motherwell Point, If Its leaving from Glasgow I'll catch a quick pint in either Lauders or the pubs in Sauchiehall St. In Dundee I'l go with the rest of the GLS to The Airlie.
Hopes for the future of United? Top 6!. Winning the league every year when the Old Firm leave, Scottish Cup Final every year!. 4 Derby wins!. Utd 2 be the Man Utd of Scotland!, Breed youngsters through that are world beaters and hang on to them!.
One thing that would improve DUFC? Where do i start!, The website is a Joke!, The merchsandising is Pitiful! (After
coming back from the USA and seeing exactly how many products and how many ideas you can have with the teams name on them! I realise how bad it is!. (Says I who come to games in a GAA top!). The Shed! Standing Please, Singing as well please!, The atmosphere at Tanny has to be looked into!. I actually prefer going to Away games as sometimes is a better atmosphere!. United holding on to their promising youngters instead of selling them at the 1st big offer!.
Anything else? FTD! We have a chance here at Utd to be a succesfull club, i would love to see some glory days back at tanny!. I think that eventually we will be sharing a stadium with the dee!. (Whether it be from 2008 or otherwise!, It generally makes sense!) I would love to have a team that would match these surroundings!. I hope that the Old Firm do leave to make it a more competitive league!. Then I believe the crowds would go up as more teams have a lot more to play for.
