Mark Wilson is now being tracked by Hearts (now denied by Darren Jackson, MW's agent), Leeds, Wolves and Celtic. Apparently there's a £500k clause in his contract - a real one - which says he can talk to clubs offering that amount, or over. Therefore United are not obliged to listen to any offer below that. No confirmed offer as yet, though the amount of clubs interested seems to be growing.
One has to believe though, that if United were doing a bit better he wouldn't even want to leave? This to me is the most frustrating part, though we're improving.
Also, if he plays for us on Saturday he will be cup-tied, which lends itself to an offer being made before then perhaps.
Quote from the Scotsman - "Hearts' Neil MacFarlane - whose switch to Tannadice was halted by Vladimir Romanov at the 11th hour in August - and Dunfermline's Greg Shields are believed to be [Chisholm's] main targets.
We are also being linked with signing the young left back Paul Dixon from Dundee. The 19 yr old won the player of the tournament at the Disco Cup, and 'boy' do we need a left back.
