The Swan signing a new contract extension is merely the tip of the Tangerine iceberg of good news at the moment. What it shows, as if any of us needed further proof, is that the current squad are pretty much all mad keen to wear the Tangerine and Black for the foreseeable future. Positively gushing team spirit and they all seem to be having a great time in Austria to boot.

You simply can’t buy the good spirit that’s in the ranks just now…lets face it…some near neighbours have spent millions trying and didnae even come close!

 As Houstie says though, the upcoming batch of pre-season friendlies are just that…they’re no measure of what the team will be doing come the opening game of the season. What they are though, is an invaluable bonding session between a bunch of players who already like one another and want to play for each other and the badge. It all bodes really well….but, as arabugsy has already pointed out, ffs Houstie exercise a little caution on the bikes mate! We need you hale and hearty for the season to come. Cannae wait.
