Well, we’ve finally clinched a Europa berth after what’s been a tremendous effort from players, manager, coaching staff and fans so far this season. Jon Daly just can’t stop scoring…despite the fact that Sunday’s game was played on a surface that wouldn’t really get the go-ahead for a Sunday league game!
I don’t think anyone would deny us the season we’ve had this year as we’ve been threatening for the past three seasons with consistency being the only thing to let us down.
One hopes Stephen Thompson gives Peter Houston the job on a permanent basis now and he gets the chance to lead United into what could be an exciting European campaign for the club.
There’s also the small matter of a Scottish Cup final to come yet and, should we overcome Ross County, I daresay Peter Houston and the boys would be given the keys to the city. It’s not going to be easy though so lets hope we keep our best players fit and on fire. It's gonna be a fantastic day out and lets hope we get fire in our bellies right from the kick-off as Ross County will be equally up for it. C'mon United
